Big bird on campus

I am trying.. trying my absolute hardest to protest against this cold weather.  There are two things I refuse to pair together this early in the game: jeans and a coat.  The jeans and coat combo indicate that is it winter.  It is not winter.  It is in fact early November.  As much as I am trying not to cave into this freezing weather, I really should soon because it is too cold outside.  I got a lot of stares yesterday, either because I was wearing tights in freezing temperatures, or because those tights were yellow. We will go with the latter.

Sgt. Smokin

I was going to wear my camo skinnies, but how could I resist a chance to wear some baggy boy pants from target.  I couldn't. Paint some red on those lips and camouflage pattern on your nail, apply some fake tats, put on a nice eagle America tee and there you have it, an army brat costume.. or what we like to call Sgt. Smokin and Sgt. Stunning.

We wore this to the Howl up at Utah State. Third year in a row and our tradition is still going strong.

Oh hey, sailor.

My friday night was all fun and games until a guy dressed in a Katy Perry costume ( a blue wig and two birthday hats as a bra) started giving me sass.

He said, "What are you dressed as?"
I said, "I am a sailor"
He said, "Sailors don't wear red"
I said, "Katy Perry wears cupcakes as her bras"
He said, "You look like a Krispy Kreme worker"

....uuuuhhhhhhhhhhh.  One, I can't think fast enough to even respond at this point because I am in such disbelief and two.. I clearly had an anchor on my hat which means I am obviously a sailor..  People these days.

One of those weeks.

It's just been one of those weeks.

You know, the week that you...

• lose everything.
• blink and your day is gone.
• Say: "Holyyyy it's already 5 o'clock?" every single night.
• were doing stuff all day, yet nothing seems to have gotten accomplished.

Well, just one more day of THAT week.  Once tomorrow hits, I'll be a free woman.  Then all the Halloween celebrations will begin.  Two costumes, and one carefree weekend.  Bring it on.

Pumpkin Patch
